The Soft Rebellion
They’ve built a system designed to distract you from yourself.
From the moment you wake up, you're flooded with messages: be productive, be useful, be better, be faster, be grateful, be quiet, be less, be more.
And beneath the noise of it all, a quieter truth often goes unnoticed:
So many of us don’t even know what we actually love.
We know what we’ve been praised for.
We know what we’re good at.
We know what makes money, what keeps the peace, what other people expect of us.
But what about what brings you alive?
What about what makes your heart flutter or your breath deepen or your mind go still in that rare, sacred way?
That’s the real rebellion—learning to recognize and reclaim what lights you up.
And the truth is, many of us are walking around without a clue. Not because we’re broken. Not because we’re lazy or ungrateful. But because we’ve been taught not to know.
We’ve been trained to ignore our own joy.

When you’re disconnected from what brings you pleasure and peace, you’re easier to manipulate.
You buy more.
You numb more.
You settle more.
You move through life as a checklist instead of a living, breathing soul. You become manageable.
But here’s the shift that changes everything:
You can relearn yourself.
You can rebuild your sense of what’s real and good.
You can remember what you love.

It takes curiosity.
It takes attention.
It takes experimentation.
It requires you to allow yourself to...
It’s observing what you reach for when no one is watching.
It’s trying something new and seeing how your body responds.
It’s letting yourself play again, create again, rest again.
This isn't just about self-care.
This is sacred reprogramming.
This is soul reclamation.
This is the soft rebellion.
Because when you start centering your life around what you truly love—even just a little—you're no longer living by default. You're no longer a cog in the machine.
You are remembering who you are.
So this week, let this be your quiet revolution:
Do something you genuinely enjoy.
Let it be for you and only you.
Pay attention to what expands you.
Follow the thread.
You might not be able to name your joy right away. That’s okay.
Let the remembering be a process. Let it be a practice. Let it be a devotion.
Even in a world that profits from your disconnection, you can come back home to yourself.
And that?
That is powerful.
That is holy.
That is how we begin to change everything.

Tuesday Reflections from the Wild Path | A soft rebellion for the soul
This is where spirit meets resistance.
Each Tuesday, I share a dispatch from the edge of the old world—where systems are crumbling and something truer is rising.
These pieces weave together politics, power, and personal truth from a deeply human, heart-centered lens.
They are an offering of clarity in chaos. A reclamation of voice. A reminder that awakening is both inner and outer work.
