What I want them to know...

I look at them, my beautiful children and the love is overwhelming, and I think, I want better for them.

I want them to know…

You don’t have to be perfect.

Mistakes are welcome if you learn from them.

You need to do what’s best for you.

Give more than you take.

Make a living doing something that makes you happy.

You are in control of your inner voice aka your thoughts.

Real friends will accept you as you are.

Being unique is a gift.

Other people’s opinions, “likes” and “comments” do not define your worth.

Everyone is afraid, it’s how you handle the fear that matters.

If it’s really important to you, don’t quit.

I love you no matter what.

You are free to make your own choices and I will support you, even if it’s a choice I wouldn’t make.

I think the world of you.

You can tell me anything.

All feelings have a time and place.

Happiness isn’t something outside of you, it’s within you.

Showing gratitude for all that have and all that you get to experience will make it so much better.

Being true to who you are and what you value is the most important thing.

Not everyone needs to like you.

Don’t take things personally; most of people’s behavior has to do with them, not you.

If you are worried about it, ask the question.

Only seek advice from someone who's done what you are about to do. Even then, remember, each journey is different. Do what feels right to you.

You have permission to immediately walk away from anything that gives you an icky feeling inside. No need to explain, excuse, or make sense of it. Just trust what you feel. It's called intuition.

Absolutely everyone is capable of change.

You can’t help those that don’t want help. All you can do is offer. The rest is up to them.

Learn from those who came before you.

You can always find help if you are willing to ask for it. Be willing to ask for it.

Everyone in your life has a purpose.

You can’t screw up, it’s all part of your path.

Judgment won’t get you anywhere.

Don’t stoop to their level.

If you can ease someone's pain, do it.

Be the friend you would like to have.

Even if it’s not your fault, do what you can to fix it.

Help others.

Give what you need.

Not everyone is meant to be in your life forever.

Worrying about something out of your control will never change it.

Simply taking a breath will help with so many things.

Be the most beautiful on the inside.

Tell the truth, no matter the consequences.

Life is hard. It’s supposed to be. With adversity comes the opportunity for growth.

Never regret loving someone.

Keep moving forward and you will survive.

Nothing lasts forever. Not the good or the bad.

Give yourself a pat on the back when you’ve accomplished something. Don’t wait for others to do it for you.

Every once in a while, turn around so you can see how far you’ve come.

Go with your gut.

Surround yourself with people who make you a better person, who uplift you, who want to see you succeed, who support you. Everyone else can take a backseat.

People can say whatever they want to say. You can’t control that. But you do control the volume at which you listen to them.

You are worthy.

Never stop learning. Never be done growing as a person.

The easy way out isn’t always the best way out.

Take some risks. You'll never know unless you try.

When you make a mistake, own it and apologize. Then move on.

If it’s important to you, it’s important.

It’s ok to cry, meltdown, be vulnerable.

Sometimes you need others to hold you up when you can’t hold yourself up. Accept the support and cherish those giving it. They are a blessing.

Everyone is going through something. Be kind always.

When you see someone handling something in a way you don't agree with, remember, you don’t know the whole story. There is always more than meets the eye.

This world has so much to offer. Say yes to the opportunities that come your way.

See as much of this magnificent world as you can.

Listen to learn, not to respond.

You don't always have to prove that you're right.

When you're wrong, say you're wrong, without an excuse attached.

Say, "I'm sorry for...," not "I'm sorry, but..."

Pay it forward.

Work hard.

Have faith.

If I'm not giving you what you need, tell me what it is and I'll do it.

You are going to do great things.

I'm so proud of you.

I love you.

Until next time...
